Click on the picture to see an album of shots from the party. We had our first baby shower last weekend. A few of my high school friends and Libby put on quite a party. It was storybook themed (and by themed, I mean THEMED!). All of the snacks were named after storybooks ('Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star' sandwiches, 'Baker's Man Brownies'), the ice bucket was, of course, 'Jack & Jill's pail', and there were books and paper books everywhere. It was all adorable, especially since I love books! We're keeping the gender a secret, so the girls had everyone make a prediction - it ended up very close - 14 for a boy and 12 for a girl. Guests also made name suggestions. Unfortunately for them, the name's been chosen for quite a while. So, although some of their ideas were cute, they'll have to wait for the next baby! :-)
